ALEJANDRO ORTUÑO IMPROVES ITS BRAND IN JÁTIVA
Alejandro Ortuño traveled last Saturday to the town of Játiva to carry out a new time control in 2,000 obstacles.
Our athlete, who wanted to improve his mark, managed to cut a second off the record set a few weeks ago in Gandía, stopping the clock in six minutes, six seconds (6'06”).
Ortuño himself commented at the end of the test that he had felt very comfortable and that despite not greatly improving his record, he left very happy because "we are already close to the European minimum" he added.
Similarly, his coach Fran Carpena, stated that Alejandro was not yet 100% physically and that even so the records had been very fast. He also commented that the coming weeks, in addition to being full of tests, the intensity of the training sessions would practically be dubbed.
As for the records, from the Spanish Athletics Federation it should be noted that in both 1500 and 3000 ml, in addition to 2,000 obstacles, Alejandro is among the 10 best national times in all of them, despite the fact that the latest times are not yet updated .
