CABANES & ORTUÑO SPORT Visit the Valencia Velodrome
Este Domingo, nuestro atleta Alejandro Ortuño, visitará el Velodromo “Luis Puig” de Valencia para medirse en el 800 m.l.
This Sunday, our athlete Alejandro Ortuño, will visit the "Luis Puig" Velodromo in Valencia to measure himself in the 800 m.l. In this way he will prepare the 1500 Spanish Championship to be held next weekend in Salamanca. This is the time control of the Valencian Community in which different tests will be held throughout the weekend. Our team has opted for said time control after a long winter period in which distances greater than the test that will occupy us in Salamanca have been worked. That is why this week's work has been "muscular activation" and with this test, the aim is to assimilate higher and faster rhythms for the 1500 competition. At this time, Alejandro Ortuño has a personal best in 800 of 1'59”, being the minimum for the Spanish championship 2'00”. The objective of this control, in addition to increasing the pace for next week, will be to be between 1'56" and 1'58" which could serve, a priori, to be in the "top five" of the national ranking. The time control will be held at 10:30 am on Sunday, which will begin with the youth middle distance and will be followed by speed and throwing tests. Our expectations are good and the sensations are unbeatable.
